Fidelity Zinfandel
The best Zinfandel grapes come from Dry Creek and the Alexander Valley. Our Railyard Estate in Geyserville (Alexander Valley) has supplied very famous brands for decades but now we use these grapes under our own label.
Tasting Notes
Intense purple and reds in color. Wonderful aromatics are opulent and very floral. Black fruits were a common theme. Black cherry, plum and some licorice texture. Lush ripe tannins and full-bodied. 2019 will always be remembered by beauty and the beast. The beast of the floods in March and the fires in October. Amazingly (and thankfully) neither events affected the quality of the vintage. Nature definitely let us dodge a bullet. Although different to 2017 and 2018, the quality is truly outstanding again. A cool start, a warm ripening season, and then a relaxed paced picking schedule gave all the wines 100% complete focus without rush.Production Notes
