Shredded Chicken Sliders with Chardonnay

These Shredded Chicken Sliders pull double duty since they are both a delicious easy dinner or a perfect dish to show up with to a party!  They paired amazingly with the Chardonnay.  So quick. So easy. And so, so tasty!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 packages 12 pack Kings Hawaiian Rolls
  • 3 cups shredded chicken - I de-boned a Rotisserie Chicken
  • 12 slices provolone cheese OR shredded cheese of your choice, I used White Sharp Cheddar
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 4 tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
  2. Cut each of the Hawaiian rolls in half across the length of the rolls and then place the bottoms in a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. Layer the chicken and cheese on top of the rolls and then place the top back on.  Use a serrated knife to cut in between all of the rolls.
  4. Mix the melted butter, mustard, sugar, and poppy seeds until combined.  Then use a pastry brush to spread the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  5. Bake on the middle rack for 15-20 minutes or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown.  Serve hot and enjoy!
