Beef sliders toppd with mushrooms, onions, avocado and basil.

INGREDIENTS:
  •  Burgers – I used pre-made Top Sirloin sliders
  •  Brioche or hamburger buns to fit type of burger used
  •  1.5 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  •  Tablespoons butter
  •  1 pound mushrooms sliced (I combined baby portabellas and white button mushrooms)
  •  1 Large Vidalia Onion, sliced into thin half rounds
  •  2 cloves garlic minced
  •  2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  •  1/8 teaspoon salt plus more, to taste, prior to serving
  •  pinch pepper plus more, to taste, prior to serving
  •  1 Tablespoon fresh parsley optional, chopped
  •  Avocado sliced
  •  Large Fresh Basil leaves
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Cook burgers / Sliders to desired doneness. While burgers are cooking prepare mushroom and onion mixture.
Step 2. Add oil and butter to a large skillet, and heat on medium heat until butter melts.
Step 3. Add mushrooms and onions, and cook about 10 minutes, stirring a couple times to make sure even cooking.
Step 4. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and stir to combine.
Step 5. Reduce heat to low and simmer about 2 to 3 more minutes, until mushrooms and onions are tender.
Step 6. Remove from heat, and add parsley (optional).
Step 7. Brush sliced side of buns with olive oil and toast on Grill or under broiler.
Step 8. Top buns with burger, mushroom and onion mixture, slices of avocado and a large basil leaf and serve.
