Tasting Notes
This delicious Italian red is only lightly sweet and not nearly at the level of a dessert wine. Made in the Romagna area of the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy, it is full of fleshy red berries with just the kiss of sweetness our customers crave sometimes.Other Notes
Refosco is actually the name of a group of red grape varieties - but as they produce wines that are nearly indistinguishable, the word "Refosco" is often used as if it were a single grape. Refoscos are medium- to full-bodied wines that are most often fruity, accessible and dry; on rare occasions, however, they can be still, off-dry, non-dessert reds.Wine Profile
